Happenings
- Anniversary was nice. We did a nice local walk, up a hill and across a wide plateau populated by sheep and wild horses.
- Now we're on holiday with the boys in Llandudno, a town on the Creuddyn peninsula in North Wales. And wow, going away with two young children is difficult! I will post a photoblog of the holiday for Blaugust.
- We're here for a week; my parents are also staying in the town the first three nights... they rocked up at their accommodation only to be told by a neighbour that the owner had died almost a year ago, and the place had flooded. booking.com did not inform them of this, and has so far not offered proper compensation, though they did manage to find another place that same evening.
- Yesterday my parents babysat and my wife and I went on a little date on the ferris wheel. Super cute, awesome moon.
- Today we went to a demostration by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. It was awesome, they launched two lifeboats and also had a helicopter out there. Mr Three loved it.
Links
Some links to Blaugust posts I've enjoyed:
- Lifelogging Under Fascism
- Webrings, clubs, and blogrolls I'm part of. Not really an article, just a rich source of links.
- Capitalize Your Letters — look, it's your life, but if your blog is entirely in lowercase I'm unlikely to stick around. It looks lazy and makes it harder to read.
- From Tales Of Maj'Eyal to Elin. I've played a lot of the first two games reviewed in this post, and it has made me interested in the third.
- Do your best, caulk the rest. Words of wisdom.
